Here are photographs of Wesak valley in Tibet.
We obtained these photos from intrepid explorers who shall remain nameless in order to protect them from the Chinese authorities.
According to the explorers, the Tibetans were well aware of the festival, and traveled form all over Tibet for the event.
The Chinese Authorities were equally well aware of the event, and brought a loud radio playing Chinese music to the valley.
It is said that Wesak is that time at the Full Moon of May in which the Christ gathers the entire Spiritual Hierarchy together in meditation to invoke the forces of Shambhalla. The Buddha, representing those forces, appears and blesses humanity.
The first six sets of photos are from the original trip to Wesak Valley. The last set of four photos is from a second trip, that was made at the time of Wesak during the year 2000.
