What is important in life is found within the heart. Many people know this, but few people comprehend the significance of it. Many people think that they are following their hearts, when in fact few have really opened themselves up to the mighty inflow of Love. Who really lets impersonal, transcendent Love direct their lives? If we are still reading books to obtain information, we have not found the truth in the heart. If we are still listening to teachers for guidance, we have not heard the "still small voice" of the heart. If we still accept any human being or teacher as an authority, we are not listening to the heart. If we imagine that we "belong" to some teaching, we still have not felt the universality of the heart. If we do not live in love, then we have not realized the heart of Love within us. If we are anxious for tomorrow, then we are not remembering the heart. If we listen to our minds, then the heart is blocked off. If we are thinking about "my service" or "my truth" or "my reality" then we have forgotten all about the heart. But if we remember the heart, then we may be guided on our path. We may come to Right Understanding of our own existence, and realize the true nature of the universe around us. The truth of things cannot be found anywhere other than the heart. No words can convey it, and no speech can encompass it. If the heart is silent, then nothing can really be known, but if the heart speaks, then the Wisdom conveyed is more valuable than all the sacred teachings of the Earth. People wander in illusion because they do not follow the heart. People cannot understand the meaning of existence because they do not follow the heart. People become lost in the world and become detached from their souls because they do not follow the heart. There is no substitute for living in the heart and seeing all things as the heart sees them. No methods, no techniques, no meditations, no initiations, no realizations compare to the awakening of the heart. For only the heart knows the Reality that is beyond any words like: attainment, initiation, and transcendence. So remember the heart. Let all the words, concepts, ideas, methods, etc, fall away. Let yourself be led onwards by that infallible guide. Live in the Love of the heart. |
